1. I was in a Whoopi Goldberg movie
Eddy, I think it was called about a woman who winds up coaching the NY Nicks.

They shot it in the Charlotte Coliseum and the ex and I were part of the crowd. No, I don't think you'd see me. :D

2. Yup.
I was in a dancing scene with Parker Posey in this movie:

And had a very small role for a few weeks on "Another World" right before it got canceled.

The only soap that I watched from childhood until the end.

6. Jensen Buchanan ("Vicky/Marley") used to come to my Starbucks every day.
She's the one who helped me get my foot in the door over there. I never watched AW (All My Children fan)and had no idea who she was. But my coworkers did and encouraged me to talk to her.

It wasn't until I showed up for my audition at the Brooklyn studio that I realized she was the leading actress on the show! What a trip that day was. That's fucking Linda Dano sitting next to me.

And Jensen was such a help. After my audition, she pulled me aside and said, "You don't know how long it took me to get the fucking bitch of a casting director to see you. It's not like I'm the lead actress on this show or anything!" I felt like I was in a scene from "Soapdish". Everyone was sitting around reading those Soap Opera rags.

You're not the only one said to see AW go off the air. It was a short run, but had fun while there.

7. Yes, it was cut.
We filmed at an Uptown synagogue, if I recall correctly. Parker's role, from what I read, was significantly cut, so that the film would focus on Tom and Meg.

episodes of "Renegade" with Lorenzo Lamas and a few episodes of "Silk Stalkings" and one other show, a sci-fi series which we never saw because we didn't have the right channel for it. She also applied to be in the movie "Titanic" when they were filming it in Rosarito Beach in 1996 but they required her to get up at 4 am to meet a bus at the border by 6 am then ride the bus to the site, then she wouldn't be back home until about 8 p.m. each night. Every day of that for 3 weeks. She was 78 at the time so she didn't do it. And several people she knew who did do it complained terribly about it. It was cold, the food was terrible, they had long hours of waiting around in uncomfortable costumers, and many people quit the movie in the first day or two. In the 1940s, she was an extra in some movie about Marines, where she was dancing in a scene of people dancing in a nightclub full of Marines, but she can't remember the name of the movie.

9. Missed my chance
I was travelling through Greece in the early 80's and kept seeing notices asking for extras. I was always a day late or a day early. About a year or two later I saw the film on my kibbutz. It was so bad I can't recall the title...wait I found it. Summer Lovers.

13. I got called to be in a Sally Field movie
but I was away at college. "A Woman of Independent Means" was filming on my brother-in-law's and Sally Field wanted to rent his parents' house for a few months. They told her "no" because she had kids.

16. Yes
My husband and I stayed up all night as extras during the football game scenes. It was cold and we were sitting on cold, rickety bleachers all night, but hey, we each got a T-shirt! :D
