Woman sues Christ for suffering.

"A lawsuit alleging wrongdoing by Jesus Christ has been dismissed by a federal judge in Texarkana for lack of jurisdiction.

The suit, filed by Faye Marie Angel of Hooks, Texas, states Christ has not only allowed her to unjustly suffer during her life but has taken measures to ensure the suffering of others. The lawsuit named several defendants, including the Bowie County Sheriff’s Department, Texas Adult Protection Services and the Bowie County District Attorney’s Office.

Angel represented herself.

In the lawsuit, she alleged Christ was in the habit of inflicting pain and misery on humankind in various ways. She claimed the county agencies mentioned in the lawsuit were parties to social mayhem acting under the control of Christ.

Angel was asking the Eastern District of Texas Federal Court, located in Texarkana, to issue an injunction preventing Christ from future wrongdoing. The court declined to do so and dismissed the case. In the order, Judge Caroline Craven noted a lack of “subject matter” jurisdiction in the case. Because Craven dismissed the case “without prejudice,” Angel is free to file her suit in another court."
