2. ooooooooooooooooooooh
that will clean up real nice. an excellent find.

and it's such a shame that Coach doesn't make the good bags any more. if i wanted a crappy looking bag half made of fabric (or, in the case of a lot of new Coach bags, ALL fabric) instead of all leather, and lined on the inside so it can tear and stain, i would never have bought (good) Coach bags in the first place.

3. OMIGOD, my dear KitchenWitch!
You really did score very cool, sweetie!

The new Coach bags are worthless...

But the old ones?

Awesome!

You go, girl!

The thrift store just happened to be next door to Firestone - so I shopped while my car got new shoes!

11. Nice!
I'd love to find an old dooney & burke in good condition somewhere. I don't think people give those up. :P

12. Wonderful!!! I am huge vintage purse fan.
In fact, I would say I am a vintage purse zealot.

Here's one of my sweetest scores: A 1960s acrylic purse ... $12.

13. Cool !
I like thrift stores. I found a wool hand knit sweater from Norway for $3 with Viking ships on it.

14. I love thrift stores
I got into doing leatherwork recently, so I figured I'd check out their leather coats, see if I could get material cheaper that way than by buying it at the leather store... found a full-length rather bad-ass trench coat for 25 bucks.

Of course, I couldn't bring myself to cut it up, so I just ended up buying it and wearing it. :)

16. That's the large City Bag.
I paid over $100 for the small City Bag in the late 80s, so it really is a bargain!:bounce:
