My husband has been hospitalized this week due to severe anemia and a 'GI' bleed. He received transfusions that brought his hgb counts back up - was released today and we are now entering a sort-of 'pre-hospice' phase. It has been a rather difficult year (out of the past almost 10 yrs. now since diagnosis). I know that this next phase will be very draining emotionally and I just wanted to let you all know how dear you are to think of us.
I don't know how often I'll be able to be part of this DU family - but I won't forget you all.
