When you buy a DVD, what format do you prefer?

3. letterbox, you don't get to pan and scan at the theater, you shouldn't be able to at home.

7. LETTERBOX! And no colorization of B&W films either!
And no editing/censoring of movies on cable TV!

I can't be offended if I'm PAYING for it, for cryin' out loud! So why censor?? :grr:

8. Unless the filmmaker intended it to be 4:3 instead of 16:9 (eg. The Shining), then widescreen 4LYFE

9. Original Aspect Ratio (OAR)
Whatever that ratio might be: 4:3, 1.85:1, 2.35:1, etc.
