Speaking of dreams with wierd imagery..
A herd of deer eating at my grape arbor, and I mean voracious, who turn into republican doctors (head and shoulders only) who want to have sex with me?

I feel slightly tired upon waking. i wonder why?

3. Is grape arbor a euphemism?
Hmmmm.

Doctors who want to practice their love for women?

Bu$h has hurt us all, even in our dreams. }(

but the deer are most uh pronounced. :P

We have lots of deer here and I see them everyday, but I didn't know they were all republicans!

6. I have a recurring dream that's been going on for EIGHT years.
It's nothing nightmarish or (especially) sexual; in fact, it's kind of a good dream in that I'm totally lucid when I'm having it. But I know what you mean about "tired upon waking." :yoiks:

Are you lucid in your dream, supernova? :hi:

8. I get the impression
that I'm either a character in the "story" or just observing the action (but in the environment, not as on a TV screen)

Is there some way to train yourself to be a more active participant?

10. I've read about "lucid dreaming" but I've not read enough to really try it
Edited on Sat Sep-29-07 11:46 AM by Heidi
because it just seems to happen naturally in these recurring dreams of mine. It's truly weird because in these dreams, I'm completely aware and in control. When I wake up, I can actually recall weighing how to reply to people who've spoken to me, as an example of choices I've made in these dreams.

I think I googled "lucid dreaming" once, but I didn't pursue it after that. Cuz I'm lazy.

P.S. Have you seen "Waking Life"? I recommend it HIGHLY.

11. No, I haven't
seen Waking Life. I did see A Scanner Darkly and liked it. And MindWalk I saw ages ago and really liked too. Now that would be an interesting movie night: Waking Life and Mindwalk double feature.
