Ever hear of the term .... |

..confabulation?
This explains it. I was watching "The Investigators" (a crime show). They talked about how there are people who have ingested so many drugs they start distorting the truth or don't remember things.
Has anybody else ever known someone like that? Someone who completely made up their own sense of reality and you couldn't figure out how or why?
I think I know someone like this IRL. Scary... but, it all makes sense now. (d'oh) How could I not see it?!

I can't believe I've never heard of this term. I always assumed (stupid me) that only insane people had a false sense of reality... to that extent. It's amazing that drugs can do that to a person, isn't it?!
