Signs you are too old for video games: I hurt myself playing Wii |
|
So I bought a Wii yesterday and spent entirely too much time with it. Now my back hurts. I guess I must be too old.
Now Wii Sports is pretty fun, but bowling and golf are the best ones. You only get three innings in baseball and you can only hit or pitch. I suck at tennis. I haven't tried boxing yet.
I did buy a real game too, the new Metroid Prime. Very cool but the controls are hard to get used to. This will be another game I probably won't finish (I rarely finish any) because I will get stuck on some boss eventually and give up.

1. I Have A Wii Too - Bought It Thinking I Might Get Some Exercise |

from it. Downloaded all the old games (Super Mario etc) and played them for a week straight. Learned how to play the other games without moving from the couch. Had a great time for a while but finally put it a way. Enjoy and don't hurt yourself. (Tip - It really only takes a flick of your wrist not entire body movements.)

3. I guess bowling for real would priobably be much worse! |
|
Yes I realized that not much movement is necessary when I kept overshooting the greens! I kept using too much power.
