the catholic church...the church I went to was progressive...as progressive as a catholic church can get...grew out of that real quick

Might want to edit the OP, though, just in case someone else is expecting a joke.

I've never been Catholic, so have little experience with what altar boys and girls actually do. Definitely seems to be a right of passage for most Catholic teenagers.

What do you do as altar boys and girls?

you wear white cloaks and carry stuff for the priest....sit on the "stage" and bring stuff to the priest when he needs it...goblets, bells, wine....etc.
