File-sharing sites that are LEGAL?
I thought I had heard about a file share website that makes you watch advertisements to "pay" for the songs you might download.

Does anyone know what site I should check out?

I really don't want the music police kicking in my door and suing me for millions I don't have.

2. Archive.org is a fantastic site for downloading live music.
The artists put it there for free and want people to hear it. There are a lot of obscure bands, but several you will recognize as well.

4. indietorrents.com
It's all independent artists so the RIAA can't do anything but go fuck themselves.

6. I think Bittorrent.com has started doing that.
And they also have some free downloads too.

But deezer.com and youtube have songs you can hear that sometimes aren't elsewhere. I heard the fantastic upcoming Vanessa Carlton CD on youtube.
