7. Probably DealMac.com
They list the best Mac buys, online and retail and updated many times per day. I like to tinker with hardware and am pretty good at isolating deals, usually including a rebate, that can be resold on eBay at a profit.

DealMac also has a very busy user forum, off-topic posts as well as virtually anything Mac.

9. It'd hafta be WINSITE . . . thousands of free downloads
Edited on Fri Jan-30-04 05:57 AM by ConcernedCanuk
.
.

Ya know,

screensavers, memory optimization programs, defrag programs (windows suks),screen snapshot programs, graphic prograzms, zip programs - you name it.

And the search thing is great - just type in the window and up comes pages of the type of program ur looking for

If ur on a budget, go for the freeware(it tells ya before you get to the download stage). Them "shareware" things are a pain in the butt, with nag screens, and just when you got it "fine tuned", ur time runs out !

http://www.winsite.com/search/

. . on edit: gee - I furgot - GAMES galore !!

12. XMfan.com
for fans of XM satellite radio. Beware, though - a lot of the posters are very right-wing, and will sneak in snide political cracks in forums that technically don't permit it.
