How much should I pay for decent DSL internet per month?
I just moved, my new place has no internet, and I'm stuck with walking an hour to use the library computers. How much should I pay for DSL internet?

6. I pay $90 for three months. We don't have the same ATT deal as mentioned...
by another poster (except as a beginner hook, and then it goes up, or you have to also be paying for other services through AT&T).

My landline is already thru AT&T. My ISP pays AT&T a fee, I believe, in order to be able to sell DSL through its own company. I get it that way. The ISP I use is regional (Internet America). I've used them since 1995. They keep state of the art equipment, rarely have line trouble, and have excellent customer service, so I want to stay with them.

So far, DSL is great for my purposes. Cable is faster, but costs more...I don't need it.

7. I just signed up for Verizon wireless internet
$60.00 a month,I had to sign a two year contract, but you don’t have to fool around with the cable guys, was on the internet in the store with it before I left, you can try it for thirty days and if you don’t like it you can dump it, though you will have to pay for the thirty days!
