This little quote has helped me w/Stacey's passing...
Perhaps it will help all of us:

Death is not extinguishing the light;

It is putting out the lamp because the dawn has come.

--Rabindranath Tagore

RIP, Stacey

27. Here is the poem mom wanted us to find after she died.
As I went through her stuff, this poem was the third thing I found. I know she wanted us to find it.

You can shed tears that she is gone,
or you can smile because she has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back,
or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday,
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her and only that she's gone,
or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind,be empty and turn your back,
Or you can do what she'd want:smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

33. Lovely! This song always helps me...
She Goes On - Crowded House

Pretty soon youll be able to remember her
Lying in the garden singing
Right where she'll always be
The door is always open

This is the place that I loved her
And these are the friends that she had
Long may the mountain ring
To the sound of her laughter
And she goes on and on

In her soft wind I will whisper
In her warm sun I will glisten
till we see her once again
In a world without end

We owe it all to frank sinatra
The song was playing a she walked into the room
After the long weekend
They were a lifetime together

Appearing in the eyes of children
In the clear blue mountain view
The colouring in the sky
And painting ladders to heaven
And she goes on

In her soft wind I will whisper
In her warm sun I will glisten
till we see her once again
In a world without end

In her soft wind I will whisper
In her warm sun I will glisten
And I always will remember
In a world without end
She goes on
She goes on
She goes on

36. Thank you CP. Let me tell you, hearing it is guaranteed to make you cry.
The music and vocals are just as lovely as the lyrics. I tried to go on youtube.com to see if I could find a video but my office has apparently decided to block sites like that from us. Just when I thought this job couldnt suck any more. :eyes:

Anyway, if you ever get a chance to hear it, I highly recommend it. I told my husband that if I go before he does I want this played at my memorial.

My sucky job is nothing compared to what OMC is going through right now. I'll look around later and see if I can't find a video link on one of my CH fan forums (yes, I'm a Crowded House junkie).
