I got the senior discount yesterday

I didn't see it until this morning. We went for supper and the youngster at the counter must have thought I was a decrepit old fart because he didn't ask if I wanted the senior discount, this morning looking at the receipt there it was. I don't know whether to be mad or glad on this, I'm a few years away from qualifying.

The first time I was given a senior discount I was 45. I was highly insulted. Now I'm 55 and I ask for the senior discount!

3. what is also painful

take my 12 year old with me alot. Too often at a bank or restaurant, the teller, waitress, whatever, asks me if it is ok if they give my grandchild a treat.
shit I am not that old.
My son has developed a really evil laugh for when this happens(usually after he scores the candy)

4. What is the qualifying age?

I thought it was 62 at least.
