Hey, my young pal from Darfur wishes to thank those here who helped publicize the plight of his people.
You have always been at the top of my DU list of good help for that issue.

On a very happy note, he was home recently and got married, moved his bride, mother and sister out of refugee camp and into an apartment. He is still studying and shaking things in D.C. His optimism remains that his country can be saved through hard work. (and I can't help but wonder if he had spoken with Jimmy Carter in the recent past - He did talk a lot of Congressmen into getting themselves arrested in front of Sudan's embassy a couple summers ago ;) )
