Ok, I didn't use my Ipod for months, and when I hooked it up to my MacBook, it recognized and downloaded everything that I've dl'd from ITunes, but none of my own albums that I've uploaded. What do I need to change?
Thanks! :hi:

1. Make sure your own albums are actually in your iTunes library. |
|
Or just set it up to manually add music rather than automatically synch.

3. Then I'm not sure why they wouldn't have synched with your iPod. |

I just manage all my music manually.
No problem. :)

although I'm a Windows user...and I'm assuming you're talking about music albums and not photo albums, make sure you've got the latest version of ITunes, plug your Ipod in, and it will give you great options for synching (make sure you've got your uploaded music backed up). I use my Ipods and ITunes sporadically, and I'm often surprised by upgrades.
BTW, I got an Ipod Touch for my wedding anniversary, way cool! :hi:

6. These days they seem to be one and the same.... |

I always used Windows because of compatibility with work, and have been pretty much satisfied. However, I've also always had Ipods for my music needs, and have been likewise satisfied. I've got an ITouch right now, and I have a couple of issues with Apple...no Notes, and the Calendar function is shitty (actually it's been crappy for older Ipods as it requires that you have Outlook 2003/2007, while 2000 gets you by for contacts with a solution through Yahoo). It has some good PDA potential if Apple would unlock it, or provide apps themselves.
