The heat in this building is screwy. Some offices are 75. Some are 60. Mine is 60. The Johnson Controls people are supposedly coming to fix it. Supposedly.
We have a fake trash can fire in our hallway (some red sheeting, a fan, and a cutout of a panhandler, from a cover we did a few years ago.)
People are wearing mittens in here and yelping when they sit down on the toilet.
WHY ARE WE STILL OPEN?!?!?

2. It's always cold in my office too. |

Even with my sweater on. Sometimes I put my coat over my lets to keep them warm. It helps. The building services group won't let me bring one of those portable heaters. Dirtbags!

3. Space heaters short out the circuits here |

So they're out, too.
The people in creative services have added a couple more cardboard panhandlers around the trash can fire. I am mainlining coffee. (I'm even drinking decaf -- I can't imagine all that caffeine would help me stay warm.)

4. We have screwy heating too |
|
Most of the time I am too hot, but sometimes like this week, I am cold. Of course, we have lab coats that we can wear over our uniforms if we need to. I brought one up for my office/lab at the beginning of the week. I don't like wearing it though as all of them are sized extra large and I am not an extra large person. The floppiness gets in my way. I don't know what the expected dress is at your office. If several people wore coats though, perhaps they'd get the message about how fixing the heat should be a priority.
