I had almost given up hope, as my interview was on September 18th and I hadn't heard anything after they called for my references last Monday (last week, not this week). On Monday and Wednesday I emailed the person with whom I interviewed, and she responded yesterday and said they had made some decisions, but she didn't know if they were finished yet. This evening we were at Marble Slab having ice cream when my BlackBerry announced an incoming email. Mr. DTBK laughed at me and called me a geek for looking at it! I thought it was spam at first, but they had emailed me a formal letter offering me the job, an attorney job description and a benefits summary. I have until 5:00 tomorrow to contact them and accept the offer, so I'll know more details then.

I start the 15th. They hired 5 attorneys, and everyone else is starting the 15th, so I am, as well. I'm glad because we'll still be fasting next week, and I have an appointment to get my mehndi done on the 12th. I'll try to get my teeth cleaning appointment scheduled for next week, too.
