So I just got back from Poltergeist

It's playing in some theatres across the nation and my girlfriend and I went to check it out. As a kid, the movie freaked me out and it was great seeing it on the big screen. Anyone else see it?

8. Oh man...I took my poor little 10 year old nephew to that when it came out.

I was 18. And remember this was shortly after ET had come out.

He'd loved ET.

So I thought Poltergeist was a safe bet. Plus it was PG!

Poor kid.

He was tough little guy though. Scared shitless but wanted to see the ride through to the end.

Same with Halloween. I know it's rated R, but that movie is scarier than anything today and has hardly any gore.
