I sprained my ankle while at work tonight. It hurt like hell - I screamed so hard but then I tried to walk it off. By the time I got home to check my mailbox,one of my neighbors was like "you need to go to the ER". I am too tough sometimes. I always think I can take it easy but not this time. I sprained my left ankle - it is so swollen it looks so ugly. I have an ASO brace but I also have crutches just in case I need them. This sucks.

So how is your Friday ?

Did they xray it? Are you sure it's just sprained?

Now just stay off it. Sounds like a good weekend to lie on the couch and read books and/or watch old movies!!

11. Generic Motrin is good.

If you tolerate it well and have no aspirin issues AT ALL, then take about twice the recommended dose, WITH FOOD. No Tylenol with that, your liver will be working hard enough to metabolize the Ibuprophen, and acetominophen doesn't do very much for orthopedic type swelling.
