I know that that sounds crazy but its true. Even though we are spread miles apart , DU Lounge has been apart of my life for 4 years now.This message board has helped me out through some hards times. And differences aside, when one of us is hurting there is always a virtual shoulder to cry on. Even through the internet,having people to talk to is a treasure.

I find myself thinking OMC even though I have never met him. And MrsGrumpy especially, the list goes on ... so more hugs if you need one :)

I always keep on keeping on because life is great. I have had to be so strong throughout my twenties. I have been through everything from wanting to commit suicide,panic attacks, domestic violence,almost needing a kidney transplant(but I made myself heal), being BROKE, living out of a bag,not knowing how I was going to eat,surving by eating a barbecue sandwich out of the snack machine - and that was all just when I was 20 ... Seeing my mom needing me when she had her aneurysm last year really made me grow up. So if I could describe myself with one word it would be CHAMPION. I am so glad to be here :)

And for my birthday sended me the nicest letter,it tore me up inside,I actually cried like a baby.After reading that letter I knew that I was on the right path in life.

I haven't accumulated quite the resume you have, but I have seen some interesting times too (moving out at 16, life long struggle with bipolar disorder, two cancer deaths in the family, best friend committing suicide, to cite the 'highlights'). You're quite right, I'm happy these days and I appreciate the good times, the healing and the strength all the more.
