Ahem.... A question for nursing mothers ....... |
|
Many years ago when I had trouble nursing my first born, some one gave me a set of bra inserts to be wron between feedings. These were made of clear plastic and consisted of a rounded hollow disk with a 1" hole in the center of one side. The disks snap apart for cleaning. The idea was to slip these into your bra with the nipple sticking into the hole. No matter how engorged you were when the milk came in, the nipple was was shaped so the baby could latch on. In between feedings, the nipple was protected from any chafing and kept dry. I used them for the first few days with all my babies, and they were great. I was more comfortable, the baby was happy and my clothes stayed dry.
So, does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? Any idea where I can get a set for a young mother-to-be?
