Please go to My DU and tell me what you see on your page.

Here are the headings:

Post title Parent Thread Date

The columns are all fouled up with blank spaces under all three headings. The date entries are either wrong or blank.

The left column has information on the number of replies, with parts of the other two columns blank.

What is causing this?

It all does straighten out if I click on "View All" -- the page comes up in a larger format and everything is realigned. This has been going on for a few weeks.

Perhaps I can report it if a couple of you tell me your are experiencing the same thing. Thank you for your participation.

1. Are you putting double quotes on the text in the heading?

You just put double quotes around "My DU".

Whenever I use the double quote (") symbol on a reply header, I can't see the text when I go to My DU.

8. I see what you mean now. I changed the OP and it did line up in a more conventional way...

But that's not the whole problem.

I wish I had a capability with tables here -- maybe we do, but I don't know how to use them. (Tried just now to post what I was seeing, but the DU program does not allow tabs, etc.)

I am seeing entries in the wrong place. Or blank entries, mostly under the date column.

Double quotes aren't the only problem, but they may be contributing.

I went through the same strange behavior last week. For a while I thought it was a side effect of being ignored by some poster. After some experiments I realized what it was.


I do think this is a new behavior for DU that was not there before.

The page entitled MY DU is not looking right. Access your own MY DU page and let me know what you see.

I still can't confirm that anyone else is having this problem.

4. Mine is fine

Whenever I have a PC problem at work the technicians ask me to reboot before they will help me. While I do not have the know how to fix it for you, I recommend you try rebooting. Darned if it does'nt work most of the time.
