Ever completely forget how much you like something?
I just found my old 80G hard drive and hooked it up last night.
It was basically nothing but music.
Right now I'm listening to VHS or Beta, and I know I haven't listened to them since I stopped using the old computer.
I love them.
I should be more careful about that.
But it's almost like finding treasure :D

I suspect it's easy to do with food too, somehow...

1. I've done the opposite too... thought I liked something, but when I got around to it again
I realized I didn't...

Like when I had to wear braces for two years and couldn't eat popcorn, caramel or chew chewing gum. When I got the braces off, I realized the only one of those three I actually liked was caramel. :)

I hear that.
I had Doom for the mac when it first came out.
Let me tell you, it sucked.

9. Still sucks now. :)
However Quake is still rather awesome. No frills, miniscule plot, lots bad things to kill... and unlike Doom, you could look up and down. :)

13. The only fun I ever had playing Doom was when I used cheat codes
so I could have unlimited ammo and just blow lots of stuff up. And that was when I was like 12.

Then again, I do that now with modern games anyway... :)

14. Yeah, I occasionally rediscover bands like that and wonder...
Why the hell I stopped listening in the first place.

Most recently, it was Portugal. The Man.

16. We moved and we've been unpacking CD's and DVD's.
We decided to back them all up on an external hard drive and then sell the CD's so I've been hearing a bunch of CD's I hadn't heard in ages!
It's been great. :D

21. When I got my iPod last fall I finally got around to downloading ALL of my cds.
My husband started the job when he got his iPod a few years back, but mine can hold our entire collection and then some. It was great to hear some stuff that had been buried for years. It's made me excited about music again.
