i now prefer pc's mainly because i use them at work, and i just have gotten used to them...

20. well when he worked for NEC thats the pc we had, when he worked for Compaq---you guessed it

we had one of those, after 3 years of working for Apple we finally got a mac. I'm not that picky, i love my mac for 2 reasons, thats what i have and it was free. I got the one that was drop tested which i thought was pretty cool, this one is the "20 foot from the overhead drop test" which always makes me giggle. Yes people can be a tad elitist about macs and other things, i think, use what you like, enjoy it and don't slam other's people stuff because what difference does it make in the quality of your everyday life?

software for them was always a problem here, but that is less so the case now.

Speaking of Apple- I have spent the better part of today
on the phone with, in the store with, on the phone with
the Apple people to find out.

THE LOGIC BOARD IS OUT FOR THE THIRD TIME!
And that 5 yr. old puter is not under warranty- 3 years is all you
get with Applecare-- ARRRGGH!

Price of repair- $950.-1,100.

Price of new Macbook-$1,100.

The fact that we are stone broke- PRICELESS

But- will I stray from Mac?
Hell no! It's bad enough that $140 ibook battery I bought
one month ago is now obsolete- everything I have is for Mac.
