4. My dear kagehime!
Oh, yes, all the paintings are hers!

Thank you, sweetie...

The tree was apparently planted around the time the town was established...around 100 years ago!

I've had an excellent but exhausting day....drove a long way to see her!

But oh it was worth it, yes indeed...

The paintings are stunning! I love them all! I really like that pointilism style - I think the originator of that technique was an artist called Surrat (?). It's been a long time since school. tho.

again, can't say enough how beautiful I think those are. I get all excited when I see lovely things. heh.

Edited on Sat Oct-06-07 09:26 PM by puerco-bellies
I did not speak with her. I was more interested in chatting with a couple of jewelers, and that guy that makes flutes. I wondered if you were going to be there, but I guess I missed you.

I am going to exhibit in next years fair so I hope to see the both of you.

It's those people that can make art with their own hands. Just wow! Sure great photographers are very artistic seeing extraordinary things in the ordinary. Ansell Adams was a master at framing nature for example. I hope eventually to be able to do the same with wildlife, primarily birds. Thanks again.
