AAGH! MS Word is driving my crazy!
I'm working on a document in MS Word (Office 2000). Out of nowhere, the tab key stops doing what I expect it to do. Instead of letting me tab across the page, it instead shifts me between different applications that are open on my computer! From Word to Outlook to IE and back again. Idoan geddit! How do I get my tab key back?

1. Is your ALT key possibly stuck?
ALT+TAB moves you between open apps

4. Word problems
Pressing the Alt and Tab keys at the same time on a Windows computer brings up the Application Switcher feature. It allows users to switch between applications quickly without using the mouse.

See if something is pressing down on the Alt key.

11. I'm using LaTeX!
I'm writing up a project report using LaTeX.

No craziness here. Or at least, my choice of word processor isn't adding to the existing craziness.
