Anyone like "Wire in the Blood" on BBC-America?
I think Robson Green (Tony Hill) is gorgeous!

The chemistry between he and Carol is cool.

1. Love it!
Am hooked completely. Wonderful characters and love the chemistry and get scared just a bit with each episode.

Another "find" - "Keen Eddie" on Bravo Tues. 8 PM Central time. A lot of fun - and also takes place in England. Quirkey characters, a bit of action and always a crime stopper story with an ingenious twist and tongue in cheek. Found it on SOTU night searching for anything to watch except Dumbya.

Think that may have been the first episode - check it out for another off the main beat show.

3. If you liked it, you'd probably LOVE the book
by Val McDermid (who has a cameo in "Wire" - plays one of the crowd of reporters, which is how she started out.) It's actually the second in her Tony/Carol series. The first, "The Mermaids Singing" is the first and is equally good. I have a passing acquaintance with Val, who is huge in Britain, similar to (blech) Patricia Cornwell over here. My favorite of hers, though, is a standalone - "A Place of Execution" which is one the very best crime novels I've ever read.

4. I like all the BBCAmerica mysteries
Wire in the Blood is especially good, and Robson Green is gorgeous!

I second the recommendation for A Place of Execution, which is one of the most original mysteries I've read in a long time. McDermid is a talented and versatile writer.

All the BBC mysteries this year have been good: Jonathan Creek, Murder in Mind, Waking the Dead, Vice, and Red Cap.

7. It's playing Monday nights
There have been two shown in the second series. I think there's one or two more.
