My bird feeders are very active |
|
I've been staring at them for hours :)
The goldfinch feeder has had 2 goldfinches on it for over and hour, and the sunflower/safflower one has been non-stop with tits, chickadees, and nuthatches at feeder-- Mourning doves, cardinals and towhees underneath.
Wonder if they know something. Glaciers melting.. aliens inbound.. the weather will soon go downhill, the atmosphere is scrunching them.. magnetic disturbances caused by solar flares...
Ok, I'm bored :)

We haven't been feeding the birds here because we have several black bears who like to stroll through and help themselves. We will fill the feeders once the bears go to sleep for the winter :-).

3. We live close to a state park and gamelands so there is lots of |
|
room to roam for the bears. The squirrels and chipmunks are really active now but our two dogs chase them away. I'm hoping the dogs don't encounter the bears. Our dogs are indoor dogs but when we let them out we go with them :-).
