Going to see Richard Russo tonight! Any fans on DU?
Am in the middle of reading his latest book, so it was weird when S.O. called to say "did you know Richard Russo is at the Free Library of Philadelphia tonight?" I can see the library from my office, so I'm going to traipse on over there after work.

A friend of mine asked if I was enjoying "Bridge of Sighs", and I said "I'm just happy to go wherever Russo wants to take me" to which he replied "which is probably a dying town in upstate NY".

"Straight Man" is another favorite.
