Poll question: Is it only me, or have y'all grown up drinking decent beer and you can't even palate weak stuff like
Bud, Coors, et al?

I've probably consumed more Eye of the Hawk than I have all the major brands combined. :P

1. If the beer is really really cold, and I have just finished mowing the lawn, I gladly
down a Bud. In fact, I tend to buy a six pack in June and by October, there's only four left......These are used to bait slugs.

2. I grew away from the cheap (not weak) stuff.
I prefer Amstel or Heineken for light beers, but they're actually weaker (alc content) than Miller Lite, etc. I'm a big fan of microbrews, but they tend to be fairly strong and I don't care for getting smashed after 3 or so.

4. Alright, I hate to admit it but I've been drinking the Miller Chill over the summer.

I know it's a gimmick beer, and goofy, but there's somethign refreshing about it after cutting the lawn.

11. Oh, God.
Miller Chill is some sort of novelty beer which is targeted, if I'm not mistaken, at the Latino market with apparently some sort of recipe that said market is supposed to appreciate. I know three people who tried it and said it was so bad that they'd sure for kicks if they were lawyers - and two of them are Latinos.

5. Nopers.
I was raised thinking alcohol was for special occasions. Didn't drink much at all till I was well into my 20's. So before then, I thought it was all awful-tasting pisswater.

7. One summer in Germany cured me of bad beer
went there when I was 16, and cant stand American mass-produced crap since.

Like Frank Zappa said, the rest of the world is drinking James Brown, and we've got Barry Manilow.

8. The only mass beer I drink is MGD. It doesn't actually taste like draft beer, but....
...it's got a decent enough flavor. I don't think I'm a snob, but Shiner Bock is simply as "mass market" as I'll get.

9. I recently turned my nose up at Dos Equis.
Not a great beer, but better than Miller; however, I seem unable to drink anything but the ass-kickingest microbrews these days.

I admit it, I'm a snob. :7

10. been there, done that
I can't drink anything but imports and microbrews mostly. (I did like Rolling Rock before it was despoiled by Anhauser Busch, or whomever bought it, though)

14. I love good beer, but the weak stuff doesn't bother me.
PBR, Miller, Bud, Coors...if it's cold, I'll drink it!
