Some of it was getting pretty close to our outfield players, so Hurdle pulled the Rockies off the field. Smart move on his part.

sliding into the second baseman as he tries to throw is legal. Sliding into him and raising your arm in order to extend your reach to knock the second baseman off his balance is called interference.

Also, to the Arizona fans throwing crap onto the field: Grow the fuck up. You are pathetic and should be ashamed of yourself. Your player tried to cheat, and you respond by throwing objects on the field when he gets caught? That is completely classless.
