received an e-mail this morning regarding a resume I sent out yesterday - call the place and they did a brief conference call type interview. Seemed to go pretty good, they are sending me a job application
rev up the DU MOJO... thank-you
also received a call from a job placement company in response to a resume I sent out this morning (this is a long shot)

5. Thanks and it must be working somewhat already |

we dodged a bullet with my partner's truck - she went out to run a couple of errands, stopped at car part place to get a light bulb for my car and her truck wouldn't start when she got out -- dead
I get a frantic phone call, race down to where she is, AAA is sending tow truck (thank-god she put extended towing on it). She tells me she thinks it's the starter or ignition, but there's no clicking sound that you might hear if it was either of them.
I notice the overhead light didn't come on when I opened the door - I told her to turn on the key and try the headlights - nothing. Radio - nope. No horn, wipers, nada.
Could be battery, but we were hesitant to try to jump it. Tow truck arrives, tell the driver what happened, he pops the hood - battery cable was loose and some corrosion. he cleans it off, tightens it down and VROOOOOOOOOM - truck starts up.
She has appointment on Monday for a tune-up so she'll have the mechanic check it out, replace battery or cables or whatever needs to be fixed.
