If Nobel laureate Gore decides to run for President in 08 and is beaten fair-and-square by the Republican candidate?
Not saying that either scenario is particularly likely, but what would be the likely result, in terms of the trauma-induced madness resulting from such an outcome?

I imagine that there'd also be some tut-tutting about how we should have nominated Kucinich.
I'm no fan of Nader-the-Candidate, but it's foolish to attribute the entirety of Gore's 2000 loss to him. I mean, we can pick any of a hundred different causes, of which Nader's Florida vote-count is only the last in the sequence.
But I guess that it's easy and appealing to assign the blame in a lump.
