Poll question: Are you more likely to gain or lose weight during stressful periods? |
|
Once the summer ended, I got REALLY busy, stopped looking after myself, and boom--gained 15-20 pounds in a little over a month. Oh well...

1. Stress makes me eat more - the "grab and wolf it down" kind of eating. |

3. I think I "medicate" stress with comfort food. |
|
I'll decide a thing at work is worth a good meal or two out, a conflict deserves a nice bottle of wine or booze, and PMS surely needs a little chocolate. I think I've got a mental text book of what event needs what food.

I put the pounds on. Big time. They're very slowly coming off now. Being 1400 miles away from the source of your stress has its advantages. :)

but not for him. I come home to a quiet house, and it's a little too quiet. Time to start socializing, but I don't know anybody here yet.
