Larry was/is truly my *knight in shining armor*. He took care of me and my family better than anyone I could ever imagine. He is the one who taught me the true grace of giving. He and his family had a tough go of things early in his life. He taught me many things, but the main thing was that of respect - for others and for this country. He is a true patriot and was saddened over what had become of HIS country these past few years. He is and will always be a true DEMOCRAT. We would walk to our polling place each and every election voting a true Democratic ticket each time. He told me the story of having shook Bobby Kennedy's hand in a parade here in SF the day before Bobby's assassination in LA and how that had such a tremendous effect upon him.
I cannot say how much I love this man and will miss him forever.
He went peacefully and I believe it is due to all the prayers and kind thoughts that were sent his way by all of you.
I cannot say how much your prayers and thoughts mean to myself and my family.

The last words he uttered were "I love you too" to our daughter. This will stay in my heart forever.
