GRRRR!!! NEVER use CheapTickets.com for finding flights
NEVER... and when you call their customer service don't expect to get any help at all unless you are welling to shell out 800 bucks extra. Oh and if you want to cancel your ticket you might want to be willing to wait 60 days to get your refund - even if you purchase the insurance.

GGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! I'm so pissed right now i could spit nails. :grr:

3. i'm talking with my mom about this tonight
as far as how to get my money back to go towards this flight. cheaptickets won't let my exchange my departure flight from the states for another that is actually CHEAPER without paying 800 MORE dollars. it's absurd! and when i asked how long it will take me to get my money back they said at least 60 days.

so thick that you can barely understand what they are saying and you constantly have to repeat yourself for them to understand what you are saying. oh and if you're like me then you won't want to seem "rude" and ask to speak to someone else, even though the person on the other line is NO HELP AT ALL..

oh, and you'll be on hold for about 20 minutes

4. Frontier Airlines charged me $200 to change reservations
5 minutes after I booked them. I messed up, clicked the wrong day, booked, realized it, called them, $200 fee to change two tickets. Never again will I fly Frontier.

BTW, I usually use Expedia, they have always been good to me.

7. they wanted to charge me 800 more plus a 250 change fee

for a flight that was cheaper than the original one i booked. it's a flight to europe so it's not a cheap one. i guess i'm going to have to cancel and rebook but i honestly can't afford to wait 60 days to get the money back AND rebook the flight as soon as i need to. i'm so frustrated right now i want to cry. i've been working for a few months to save up for this trip and have exactly as much as i need for it right now(nothing more although i'm still working before the trip in December).

9. i was on the phone with cheap tickets all day today with no luck or help
i'm going to call delta tomorrow and talk to them directly

10. i just talked to delta, they were EXTREMELY HELPFUL
found me another flight within 5 minutes and it's actually cheaper. the only problem is that it arrives a bit later than i need to arrive so i'm trying to see if that's a huge issues..

ack! i didn't know traveling overseas would be THIS frustrating even before i left :shrug:

11. Double GRRRRR! They've ruined a Hawai'i company
should've known it was about to jump the shark when mainland conglomerate cendant bought it out from its kama'aina ("local person"; now you know) in 2000.

Same old story: Boy (and girl, in this case) start business, boy and girl grow business, boy and girl find out they're growing too fast for our tight and tiny labor market, smooth-talking mainlander steps in and writes boy and girl a big, fat check... it's happened to several of our best tech companies, too.
