Nonconsensual sexual relations is a definition of rape, isn't it? Are we defining sex only as consensual? Isn't there a huge gray area where people with impaired judgment are concerned?

I'll condemn rape all you want, but isn't its use of sex as a weapon part of what makes it so terrible--that it perverts some of the most intimate human contact, turning it into a tool of dominance?

on edit: Or did you just mean that sex and rape aren't the same thing, and neither should be confused with the other? I agree, emphatically.
