What do you think of men who have a pierced ear?
Personally, I think it's kinda hip, kinda cool.

ShineGirl is going to get her ears pierced for her 11th b'day next week and MrShine is thinking of getting one of his ears pierced, in solidarity. :D

1. I think men with one pierced ear look completely out of balance
Ya gotta get 'em both done.

4. had one back in the early 90's....
Of course I was a 30 something playing rock-n-roll every night... would you expect less ? ;)

Alas, those days are behind me (except the part about playing music). Now I like me (and others) exactly how they were made.

6. I don't want my sons getting their ears pierced nor do I
want them getting tattoo's. But one has a huge tattoo on his back. :(

None of them have pierced ears but each to their own.

I can't stand it when guys have both ears pierced with those huge earrings.

I think it looks gaudy and over stated.

:silly:

10. It's not really fair to compare that guy with someone who has a few earrings
I mean, that dude has an insane amount of piercings. Multiple piercings can be done quite tastefully. That guy just is far from tasteful, but if he likes it, more power to him.

13. It's funny how many on this thread have spoken of having both pierced
instead of just one. I think that look looks better on the younger set (35 and younger), frankly. MrShine is pushing 52 and is a VP of Engineering at a high-tech company in Silicon Valley, so it's a big enough deal for him to consider getting just one pierced! :D

But I agree with you, it is sexy! :hi:

just be glad you're already circumcised ;-) Getting your other ear pierced is a cake walk compared to doing that to turn me on :-P

19. I like it on men -- but one ear only, and not a huge earring in it.
I kinda hope my son gets an ear pierced one day.

21. I personally prefer if both ears are pierced
I like the symmetry of having both ears pierced but if one ear is pierced, I find that wearing a tiny stud bothers me. I would rather see a small ring or something more visible than an itty bitty baby stud in a man's ear. For the record, I didn't know this abut myself until a few weeks ago when I met a man wearing one. I swear it looked like a tiny metallic speck...far smaller than a normal stud. It was as if his message was "I'm cool enough to get it pierced but not confident enough to really do it right".

26. Got my ear pierced with my son
Took him to a high end tatoo parlor when he was 8.

The guy that did our ears realy got a kick out of us.

Both of us still have them pierced two years later.
