LOS ANGELES - Hollywood’s highest-profile custody case was back in court Friday, with a lawyer for Britney Spears winning a motion to bar videotaping of depositions.

According to “Access Hollywood,” Spears made a brief exit from court during a break in the proceedings. The pop singer stormed out of the courtroom in an agitated state. She was yelling, “Eat it! Lick it! Snort it! F--- it!”

Spears lawyers ran after her, as did her former assistant, Alli Sims, who is with her in court. Spears then returned to the courtroom, sobbing.

Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline were under court order to appear later in the day at another hearing to work out custody arrangements for their two young sons.

People pick on her a lot, but it really seems like something beyond sanity is going on there. She looks really desperate in that picture.

I've got to agree that she seems to have all of the classic symptoms, and her way of dealing with it appears to be amping herself up to the extreme on legal highs (Red Bulls and rivers of Starbucks coffee) as well as the alleged coke / meth / whatever the tabloids frequently report.

And in the middle of this are her two kids. Sad, but it seems like the brighter and more intense the spotlight, the more erratic the behavior. She's also got a well-documented sense of disgust for authority, her current judge in particular.
