Have you/Do you say anything when you see a baby/toddler chewing on a sponge paint brush

then wiping it all over the store cart she's sitting in and chewing on it some more with the mom standing right there?

Saw this yesterday at Michael's. The mom gave it to the little one because she wanted to distract here so she could talk with the store employee who was helping her.

I so wanted to scream....CALL CONGRESS RIGHT FUCKING NOW!!!!1!

...or at least say something on behalf of the teething tot who was also busy "painting" with the sponge brush all over the cart handles, then chewing and sucking on it some more.

Gah! Moms like that freak me out!
