Anyone a member of Drinking Liberally?

Recently this young woman who is the living incarnation of Reese Witherspoon in "Election" has been DEMANDING that we DO THINGS during our meetings... write letters, give presentations, stage mock arguments, etc.

I am totally opposed to this. I just want to drink beer and shoot the shit.

How do I combat this? :shrug:

Have you been involved a while? What do you think so far? Doesn't sound like fun if every chapter is headed like the woman you describe.
