1. Intelligent discourse and analysis. |
|
It might spread from those who have been paying attention to those who haven't been and believe what they hear on the news.

3. Refer to my post below. |

I don't think intelligent discourse is what they're afraid of.

4. Ah, you mean they suffer from the same kind of idiocy you see on youtube comments. |
|
Nevermind what I said then. :) They're probably just tired of going through and having to take out all the trollish comments, and come out missing a few IQ points because of the sheer amount of STUPID they had to wade through to find said trollish comments.

5. Yahoo has pretty much sucked ever since they sold their soul to "click ads." |
|
I remember the "pre-Google" days, in which Yahoo was pretty much "the" search engine.
But Yahoo took its eyes off the prize, deciding that Internet advertising was where the action was. I remember those ridiculous "window shade" ads that would drop down in the middle of a page you'd be trying to view. I remember an interview with a VP at Yahoo in which he was asked "Don't you think these new ads are obtrusive?" and he replied "No, they're not obtrusive enough."
So pretty much everyone at Yahoo, from Jerry Yang down to the people in the mail room, can bite me.
Well, maybe not the mail room. That may be a little harsh. How about "middle management and above?" YEAH. THAT works. All of THOSE people can kiss my ASS.
