$545 for 2 pairs of glasses |
|
1 regular wear 1 sunglasses
Didn't need 'reading glasses'
This is at Lenscrafters with a 40% off sale (40% complete; both lenses and frames)
Overall, I'm happy.
And that store manager - she was goegeous. No wedding ring, but I couldn't figure her out so I wasn't going to ask her out -- which, in a store, would be weird - wouldn't it?

2. Mine doc said I didn't need bifocals |
|
Which is weird, I have separate reading glasses. Did my previous eye doctor try to push more unto me than I needed?

3. In regards to the asking out at store issue |
|
I work retail so I run into this. The guy I'm marrying next February was a customer who asked me out. So, bottom line, I wouldn't worry too much about it. If the person seems like someone you'd enjoy going out with, give it a try. They can only say no. :hi:

4. on Friday the optician sat down with wife and me.... |
|
She had picked frames at $149. "The lens we recommend is a no line bifocal, and I'm sorry but with that lens, non glare MUST be included its not an option. The lens is $309 and the REQUIRED non glare is $125."
Wife replied: "I have no problem with lined bifocal. How much?"
"$125."
"Sold."
