I'd put them all into other time-signatures (5/4, 7/4).
And one of my favorite jazz songs is "Bulgarian Bulge" by Don Ellis - it's in 33/8. A FAST 33/8. :D

I still think his most "Ellisian" piece is "Upstart", in 3 & 2/3 / 4 time.
Check out Bela Fleck and the Flecktones sometimes, they do some strange things with time signatures, but don't always explain what's happening.

Yeah, 4/4 is nice and steady and it works for some longer parts, but if you want motion, forward drive, and a lack of boringness then you need to do it in 2 or an odd number.
