I just saw Ryan Adams tonight at a high school auditorium and it
was one of the best concerts I have seen in a very long time...

He was professional yet showed just a glimpse of that wacky personality that surfaces now and then...

We got there late, went to a wedding that was Halloween oriented...

There was one girl there I was ready to offer twenty bucks just to see if she was a hooker, I digress...

Anyway, the concert was very good, reminded me a little bit of Poco with a touch of angst thrown in...

I first heard his music when he released an acoustic version of the Oasis song Wonderwall...

Then his new "hit", it takes two when it use to take one...

And his languorous "English Girls"...

Damn he was good...

I'm glad he went through Rehab and took control of his addictive personality...

1. Sounds like you had a really good time!
Isn't it great that these folks can take charge of their lives and conquer their demons?

We all benefit...

I'm glad you were able to get there!

:hi:

2. I like Ryan Adams a lot, but his recent concert here was pretty poorly reviewed
apparently he talked almost as much as he sang, and the concert wound up being shorter than expected. I still would've liked to have gone, because I really like his work.

I'm glad you caught him on a good night--sounds like a lot of fun :toast:

3. He played for about two hours...
HE did talk and goof around with the band and the audience...

But it was cool...
