is that true friendship is not contingent upon participation by both parties. One can love and be a friend without expectation of any reciprocation. Reciprocation isn't why we do it anyway, right? But yes, I guess it does suck until we find that out. :hug:

Friendship is just that. Unconditional love is what moms and dogs give you. Put yourself in the other dude's shoes. Nothing should be expected of a friend other than just being there. If that's not how you feel he/she may be more than a friend in your mind. Tell them so. If it doensnt come back it is that butterly that flew away.
