Subject line says it all. We all have gripes about how people behave. What would you do to put society back on the right tracks again?

Mods - please move this GD or GD-P if deemed more relevant.

13. I would take over the world and run a brutal regime that would force change upon the people.
Then I'd either fix everything, or they'd rise up against me and the whole thing would go to hell.

Either way, it'd be fun while it lasted.

18. actually
That's my answer. Mass-sterilization would be one of my first steps.

I got almost sick last night at a concert I went to. I was a few people away from the stage in a standing crowd. We'd stood there over an hour watching the openings. Then as the main act came on a group of four people squeezed in front of us, the tallest one started backing into me, bumping me as he danced. When I finally got his attention and drew a little line in front of me with my arm he acted like he didn't understand and then he got his three friends involved. So one of them told me if I don't like getting bumped, why don't I just move back? After we'd stood there for an hour x( And what could I say, it was so loud they probably wouldn't hear me and they were probably half my age and obviously didn't care what I said anyway. They made us so sick we moved away from them to the back of the crowd where everyone was just hanging out not crowding.

So today, even though they were soulless assholes who don't deserve my anger, I can't forget how they acted. They're just a sign of what's wrong with everyone and I've had enough signs already really. Am I gonna have to stay inside so's not to expose myself to how shitty people are getting? x(

Excuse me, whether anyone reads this shit or not I have to vent now.

Just rule with an iron fist.

Although I would keep the option open.

14. completely destroy the ability for electronics to work on a massive scale
we're talking the entire united states undergoing multiple EMP burts over most of the country.

the banking system would vanish. cars with computer module "brains" won't work.

the transportation, financial, and communication system would fail.

this, essentially would create a more or less level playing field, and the breakdown of social order, people who can first turn to their money will not have the one thing that allowed them to lord over others when money still meant anything. take that perception away and let people fight in the streets for precious resources.

16. I =am= trying.
Calling out repeat liars and frauds, naming the economic game BushCo are playing (and winning), generally working to call all to accountability (which is nearly non-existent in the States right now). Calling out hidden negativity (Reagan-like gloating "we didn't do anything but you know that we did" behaviour). Cupidity and stupidity. Those who are like Bush and have voted repeatedly for Bush and his similars, must be shown the error of this path so that they may choose to come around to the principles of Democracy.

Also, working on myself in regard to any negativity I can find. And through this, implying that others should as well, as it's the main way one can change the world. Be an example toward the good. Genuinely support others and call out negavitity when it thrives.

Of course, calling others on their negativity, especially purposeful, hidden negativity, just gives it a chance to fight and grow. That is the nature of negativity, to increase itself in any way possible. I'm learning as I go and am working for a love-based society, which is actually possible if people were to make an effort. It requires being honest with yourself and letting go of the poisons: anger, fear, desire, and ignorance. (However much you may dislike spiritual principles, they are a roadmap toward a positive environment, and we are steadily losing the positive environment to an "anything goes if you can't stop me" environment. Spirituality does not mean religious brainwashing. It means living the right way and encouraging others through this example. Even if like me, you're only at the point of working on changing.)

People don't see that all energy is steady-state. Intention changes its position on the polarity scale, but it doesn't go away. Add negativity to the world, and we'll continue to get residents like BushCo.

People won't take their responsibility for BushCo. If you have the same behaviours within you, if you act like a Republican, you will create Republicans. "We get the Christmas we deserve." -Greg Lake

People don't understand, or just don't want to admit, how bad this is. We're in real trouble here. It is imperative that we change this direction or the US will end up like Imelda Marcos-ville. You can already see this happening, since Reagan and friends began to privatize and eliminate the unions and the middle class.

Find me to be ranting? Look again at the price of gas and the value of the dollar.

20. The truth is in the middle.
There is a separation between what the media allows and what is general decency. (I may be crass online, but it does not extend to the real world.)

I'm amazed by people who take what's in the media and extend it into the real world.
