I hate that series of credit card commercial that imply

that anyone who doesn't use plastic is a rude party pooper who is taking up everybody else's valuable time, the implication being that if you don't use corp.cash you are a drain on the economy. In fact, I think that those commercials are fascist and UnAmerican!

3. I'm sitting on $50,000 worth of credit card credit

I'm not sure what possessed me to get all those credit cards, but I'll tell you what, all but one of them is going to get cut up.

I just paid off $3,000 worth of credit card debt. I have one outstanding balance to go at $5300 and I'm going to try to have it paid for in the next 4 months. From then on I will have just my one credit card for use in case of emergencies.

9. That's the way I used to do it

Then I got behind and there wasn't as much money coming in so I used the cards more than I should have. But good news! I got a new job and a big pay raise so that credit card debt is going down. I was abut $10,000 in credit card debt at one time and I've managed to cut it in half.

5. I use my debit card at the grocery self check out

It's a lot quicker than trying to feed cash in the bill/coin acceptor. One swipe, two seconds later my groceries are paid for and I am gone.
