1. I agree especially about buck
and that selaskie human. An incredibly overbearing team of blabbers. I'm very happy I had little interest in this series borefest.

16. True story
The company I work for got Joe Buck to come in and do a Q&A session as part of a promotion. Someone asked him "whats the best way to get Tim McCarver to shut up?"

21. Another Tim McCarver story...
as told by Lou Brock

during the 1967 World Series, Tim had bought a bunch of tickets to one of the games in Boston for friends and family. But most of them couldnt make it. Before the game, Tim was out on the street in front of Fenway in his uniform pants and t-shirt scalping his extra tickets.

19. Urgh.
:puke: :puke: :puke:

I'll still watch anyway, though next year I might take a different route and watch the game, put it on mute, and turn on a radio broadcast.

20. If you can get one
That certainly would've been my choice, and was for certain playoff games. But the nearest ESPN Radio affiliate, KNBR in San Francisco (which is also the Giants' flagship station), strangely decided to give the Series broadcast and some division/league series broadcasts to its sister station, KTCT. KNBR is a "boomer" — 50,000 watts — but KTCT is a "sundowner" — required by the FCC to cut its power to 10,000 watts at sundown, so I can't pick it up at night. They've applied to the FCC to go 50,000 watts full-time, though, so maybe next year.
